Breaking Bad Habits

"But His delight is in the law of The Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night.  He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth it's fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper."  ~Psalm 1:2-3.  Prosper means to be successful and fortunate.

"Then I said to you, 'Do not be terrified or afraid of them.  The Lord your God, who goes before you, He will fight for you, according to all He did for you in Egypt before your eyes, and in the wilderness you saw how The Lord your God carried you, as a man carries his son, in all the way that you went until you came to this place.'  Yet, for all that, you did not believe The Lord your God, who went in the way before you to search out a place for you to pitch your tents, to show you the way you should go, in the fire by night and in the cloud by day." ~Deuteronomy 1:29-33.

What do each of these Bible verses have in common? Well, the answer is that they are both about breaking bad habits and forming new ones, and also that if we obey Him and do His will for our lives, then we will be very successful and fortunate too.  But first, you must obey Him and have a faithful relationship with Him. It's a lot of hard work and dedication, but in the end, as I always say, it will definitely be worth it and paid off fully.  I have been a faithful follower of Christ for four years now and it absolutely, positively has been worth it every single step of the way.  It was the best decision I could have ever made in my entire life.  No, it's not always easy, but I'm going to keep doing it until the day I die, and even after I die, I'll be in heaven still doing it.

You guys can have the exact same relationship with The Lord, if you will just let go and give it all to God.  He knows exactly what you are going through and He will help you through it all, just trust Him and have an open mind and an open heart too.  Yes, I do have two imperfect retail jobs that I'm really not too fond of, but I am truly grateful to have those two jobs because without them then I'd absolutely be screwed, especially when it comes to annoying bills every single month.  They will not disappear, so we have to deal with them until we go home to The Lord.  I know and trust that God has a large vision for my life, I just don't know what it is yet; but what I do know is that when He's ready and I'm ready, He will reveal it all to me at the right time.  For example, the current situation that I'm in is only temporary and not permanent.  It's hard for me to remember this at times because of a bad day that I might have at a certain time.  For those of you who have and still work in retail knows exactly how good or bad it can be on a daily basis.  Agreed?

I just want you all to know that no matter how good or how bad your present situation is, you need to remember that it is only temporary and not permanent.  It is just a stepping stone to something bigger and better than any of us could have imagined, just be patient and wait, because I have a feeling that God is starting to shift things in our favor.  Big changes are coming so be prepared, because I sure am.  We need to be ready, willing, and waiting to take on whatever it is that God has planned for us.  I'm excited! Are you? Let's hope so and let's be ready to move full steam ahead!  If God tells you, "yes" about something, then there should be nothing stopping you and nothing will stand in your way, Amen? I can't hear you! Come on, let's say Amen! Praise The Lord! God is good all the time and all the time God is good! Amen and Amen!
